You entered the living area of the Avengers Tower, ready to just sit down and watch TV. Everyone else was out training or busy doing something, and you'd been given the afternoon off. You nearly had a fright when you saw a tall figure standing by the large window of the room, just staring out at the city below. You didn't expect to see anyone, thinking they were all training or busy somewhere else.

"I didn't think anyone would be up here." You spoke, causing the figure to turn to face you. It was Vision. You slowly approached the window, going to look out too.

"I am sorry." He spoke in his monotone voice. "I shared the same thought." He admitted, watching you as you came towards him. You smiled slightly, looking out.

"You don't need to say sorry." You spoke softly. "I can't get over how amazing the view is." You looked down. "Although it is a bit sickening to look down." You laughed lightly. He nodded, looking back out.

"I agree. It is... Amazing." He repeated the word that rolled off your tongue with such ease. You both stayed in a comfortable silence, enjoying the peace and view with each other's company.

"So, how are you?" You broke the silence, just generally curious to how the android had been coping with every day life. He turned to you, looking down as he did so, considering he was so tall.

"I am well, thank you." He paused. "How are you?" He repeated your question.

"Yeah... Good, thanks." You nodded, looking up at him, giving him a small smile.

"Good. I am glad you are well." He returned the small smile. There was a small pause. "I have seen you come up here often, why?" He inquired. You shrugged.

"It's just peaceful. Plus the view." You gestured towards the landscape. "What about you?"

"Likewise." You swore you saw his eyes light up for a second. Not in a mechanical way, but an expressive way. He turned his gaze back to the view. Another few minutes of silence before he spoke once again. "I have... Enjoyed your company ______, however, I believe I have some where to be." He turned away from the view, getting ready to leave.

"I have enjoyed yours too." You smiled, turning away also.

"Maybe, we can enjoy each other's company again some time?" He stood with his hands behind his back. You nodded.

"Of course!" You beamed, as he gave you a small smile and nod before turning and leaving you alone. You smiled to yourself as you sat down and turned on the TV.

The next day, you headed up to the living area again, hoping that Vision would be there again. However, to your disappointment, he was no where to be seen. You decided to sit in front of the window, looking out at the view whilst listening to your music. You put in your earphones as you played your favourite song ________. You began humming along as you watched the world go by. That humming soon became soft singing. You were so lost in your own little world that you didn't notice the presence that entered the room.

Vision entered the living area, hearing a soft voice. He looked over by the window, seeing you sitting by it, looking out at the world. He stood and listened to your voice, narrowing his eyes. He believed what you were doing was... Singing? He slowly walked towards you, fascinated by the sound you were producing. Eventually you stopped singing and felt eyes watching you. You pulled out your earphones and turned hesitantly to see who had heard your singing. You had hoped it wasn't anyone that would embarrass you... Once you turned to see who it was, relief took over as you sighed.

"Hi, Vision." You looked up at him. While you sat down, he looked like a giant. He looked down at you.

"Hello, _______." He replied, nodding to you.

"How long have you been standing there?" You asked quietly, raising an eyebrow.

"I am not too sure. Not long." He admitted. "You were... Singing?" He inquired as you slowly nodded.

"Well, I try." You joked as he didn't seem to understand.

"It was... Fascinating." He looked out at the view. You smiled at his comment. "It's amazing what humans are capable of." You nodded, agreeing. Humans. You were definitely something.

"Indeed." You then went to stand up, seeing a hand outstretched to you. You saw gladly accepted as he helped you up. "Thank you." You let go of his hand.

"You're welcome, ______." He paused. "How are you today?" He asked.

"Good, thank you. What about you?"

"I am well, thank you for asking."

This went on for the next couple of weeks. You would often bump into each other up there and watch the world go by together as you talked about different things. You had become closer with the android and had formed a good friendship. You taught him things about the world and humans that he didn't know before and he would teach you about science-y things, that you admittedly pretended to understand. You felt comfortable in his presence, and you hoped he felt the same too. You were beginning to think you had formed more than platonic feelings for him, however, you tried not to focus on them. You feared if you acted on them or said anything it would ruin the relationship you already had.

You had headed up to the living area to be alone. You wanted to be alone. You didn't seem to be your usual cheerful self. You felt low. You didn't know why. You just felt emotionally drained. You sat by the window, watching the rain pour into the city. It was relaxing however, wasn't improving your mood. As usual, Vision also joined you up there, however, he sensed something was wrong as soon as he saw you. Your posture was different. You were slumped forward and the room felt sad. He walked over to you.

"_______?" He questioned as you didn't look up at him. He could see your reflection in the window, and could see your eyes were glossy from the water slowly filling them. He hesitantly sat beside you, crossing his legs as he did so. You still didn't turn to him. "What is wrong?" He asked in a soft voice, you swore you could hear concern. You took a moment before responding.

"I don't know." You admitted. "I feel... Empty." You shrugged.

"Empty?" He repeated in a questioning tone.

"Yes." You nodded. You then looked at him. You're expression was tired as your tears didn't fall as you held them back. His eyes softened.

"______, I... I do not know what to do." He sounded confused, worried.

"You don't need to do anything." You gave him a small smile, however, it didn't reach your eyes. You then looked back out at the rain. There were a few minutes of silence and no movement. But when you felt a hand holding yours, you looked at Vision.

"I read that contact helps humans feel connected to others and can help to bond. It is also helpful when another is sad." He spoke in his monotone voice as usual. You gave him a genuine smile this time.

"Well, it's working." He gave you a small smile. "Thank you, Vision." You paused. "For being there."

"You're welcome, _______."
For the days when we feel sad.

I hope Vision doesn't seem too OOC.
